A full-resolution preview is a free download waiting to happen.
Sending finished images before payment is common practice - and common risk. With NGDS you choose, link by link, whether people can only view or also download.
Before
Delivered too soon, too openly
Two copies of every RAW file
Memory cards get backed up to a laptop and then again to an external drive, and it's rarely clear which copy is the real master once editing starts.
Culling takes forever remotely
Reviewing thousands of RAW frames from a shoot to pick the keepers is slow when the files live on a drive that isn't with you.
Full-resolution previews leak
Sending a preview gallery before final payment often means sending full-resolution files that clients can screenshot or download without paying.
No expiry on old delivery links
Gallery links sent months ago often still work, so there's no way to know if a client's link has been passed around after the job is done.

The NGDS delivery workflow
One master copy per shoot
Import RAW files directly into a shoot-specific folder that becomes the single source of truth for that client's images.
Cull from anywhere
Browse a shoot's folder from your phone, tablet or laptop and star your selects as Favorites, so culling doesn't have to wait until you're back at your desk.
View-only client galleries
Share a shoot folder as a view-only link so clients can look through it in their browser, and send a separate download link only once the final images are ready.
Expiring gallery links
Set an expiry date, and an optional password, on every delivery link, so galleries stop being accessible on your terms, not indefinitely.
Stop giving away full-resolution files for free. Deliver on your terms, every time.
